Integrating with Datto SaaS Protection (formerly Backupify) Emails

Hi! Follow the steps below to create an integration between Datto SaaS Protection (formerly Backupify) and Backup Radar. 

What you'll need:
• Your Backup Radar email address (this can be found in your Backup Radar account under Integration > Mailboxes).
 
Note: This article captures third-party steps and/or an interface that may have since been updated.  
  1. In your Datto account, select Status and choose SaaS Protection Status.

  2. Click Daily Backup Report.
    2.

  3. Select the time zone that makes the most sense for you.
    3.

  4. Select your preferred client (All Clients will be selected by default, but you can also use this drop-down menu to select an individual client). 
    4.

  5. Enter your Backup Radar email address into the Recipients field and click Add.
    5.

    We recommend using plus email addressing (aka: sub-addressing) to create a variation of your email address. Feel free to check out Using Plus Email Addressing to Keep Your Notifications Organized for more details on why this is a useful best practice.

  6. If your email address was added successfully, you'll see it appear under the Recipients field. Once added, click Submit.
