Report Default Configuration

This article will take you through the effects of the "Generate with Defaults" and "Generate with Filter" options in On-Demand reports available in Backup Radar. 

In addition to this, the article will explain the effect(s) which different scheduling options have on each of the Scheduled Reports available in Backup Radar. 

 

Please Note: 

Scheduled Reports will send out empty report documents if no backup results are found with the applied filters.

From the above list of reports the following are not affected by scheduling as the detail within them is not date dependant:

  • Activation Report
  • Backup List Report
  • Backup Parsing Report
  • Escalation Report
  • PSA Configuration Exception Report
  • PSA Configuration Match Report

With this in mind the below image shows the date range selected for each the remaining reports when the different options are selected:
