Working with Email Domains

Hello! This article will dive into working with the email domains assigned to your Backup Radar users.

Who can use this feature? 
• Administrator users.
• Standard users with "Edit Tenant Settings" permissions enabled.

 

The email domain you assign to a user directly affects which user type they can be assigned to.

Only users assigned to one of your primary or secondary email domains can be designated as Administrator or Standard user types. Users assigned to any other email domain can only be designated as Client user types.

Editing your Email Domains

Follow these steps to edit the primary and secondary email domains assigned to your Backup Radar account:

  1. In your Backup Radar account, navigate to Settings and the Tenants tab.
  2. Under Email Domains, click Edit.
  3. Edit your primary and secondary emails domains as desired, and click Continue.
  4. Review the assigned user types for each user, adjust accordingly, and click Perform Changes.
