Resetting or Changing a User's Password

Who can use this feature?
 • Administrator users.

Did one of your Backup Radar account users forget their password? No problem! You can reset or change passwords for your users by following the steps below:

  1. In your Backup Radar account, select Settings > User Management.

  2. Select the Administrator & Standard or Client tab, depending on what kind of user you'd like to change a password for.

  3. Continue on to Resetting a User Password or Changing a User Password.

Resetting a User Password

  1. Click the Reset Password button next to the user you would like to reset the password for.

  2. Your user will receive an email with a prompt to reset their password by clicking Reset Password.

Changing a User Password

  1. Select at least one user and click New Password.
    Select a User and click Change Password.png 
  2. Enter your desired new password for your selected user(s) and click Save.

  3. As a final step, you'll need to reach out to your user and provide them with their new password so they can log in.
