Hello! In this article, we'll talk about managing (i.e. granting, modifying, and revoking) user access in Backup Radar for Admin/Standard users.
Note that Client user access does not require granting or modifying, but is simply activated or deactivated. See Creating a Client User and Deactivating a Client User for more information.
To learn the full details of user type permissions, see Understanding User Types.
Who can use this feature? • Administrator users. |

- In Backup Radar, navigate to Settings > User Management.
- Choose the Administrator & Standard tab and select Grant User Access.
- In this screen, you'll see a list of users who have already been added to the ScalePad Hub but do not currently have access to Backup Radar. Configure user access for your desired user(s) as needed and click the Grant Access button when done.
a. Administrator: Select this toggle button to grant a user Admin access to their Backup Radar account.
b. Standard: Select this toggle button to grant a user Standard access to their Backup Radar account.
c. No access: Leave this toggle button selected to continue restricting a user from accessing Backup Radar. This will have no effect on the user's access to other ScalePad products.
- Once your change(s) has been saved successfully, you'll see the following confirmation message in the application.
