The Side Panel allows you to do the following things:
- View detailed device metadata directly in Backup Radar.
- View detailed appliance metadata directly in Backup Radar.
- Trigger on-demand backup job requests directly from Backup Radar.

Jump directly into the corresponding device view in Slide.
- You can navigate to the Side Panel from the Audit, Edit Backups, Activate Backups, or Retire Backups screens by clicking on a Slide integration device name under the Device Name column:

In the Side Panel, choose from the following options:
a. View in Slide: Navigate directly to the side panel for this specific device in your Slide account.
b. Backup Now: Send an on-demand backup job request directly to Slide from Backup Radar. Note that it may take up to 60 minutes for the backup job results to display in Backup Radar.
c. Appliance: Navigate directly to the side panel for this specific appliance (aka: Slide Box) in your Slide account.
d. View Slide device and appliance metadata.
