If you're generating a report in Backup Radar and receive a "No data available" error, this means the filters configured for your report don't match any backup data in your account for the selected date range.
This is typically caused by one or more report filters (such as Device Type, Company, Job Name, or Tags) being set to a value that doesn't match the backups in your environment. For example, filtering by the Workstation device type when your backups are classified as Server or Unit would return no data.
Who can use this feature?
Administrator users.
Standard users (who have been granted access).
Verify your report data
The best way to confirm whether data exists for your selected filters is to check the Daily Activity page (or the Audit page if you haven't migrated your backups to Backup Plans).
In your Backup Radar account, navigate to Daily Activity (or Audit if you're still using templates).
Apply the same filters you have configured for your report (such as Company, Device Type, Job Name, and date range).
If no backup results appear, one or more of your filters don't match the backup data in your environment. Continue to the next step.
Adjust your filters one at a time until you find the backups you want to report on.
Once the correct backups appear on the Daily Activity or Audit page, mirror those same filter settings on your report and generate it again.
Common causes
Device type mismatch: Your backups are classified as one device type (for example, Unit or Server), but your report filter is set to a different type (for example, Workstation). You can check and update device types by navigating to Manage > Edit Backups.
Company filter too narrow: The company selected in your report filter doesn't have any backups associated with it for the selected date range.
Date range doesn't contain results: The selected date range doesn't include any days where backup results were received. Try expanding the date range to confirm data exists.
