Integrating with Datto BCDR API

Hiya! Follow the steps below to create an integration between Datto BCDR and Backup Radar.

Who can use this feature?
• Administrator users.
• Standard users (who have been granted access).		  
What you'll need:
• Admin access to a Datto BCDR account.
Note: This article captures third-party steps and/or an interface that may have since been updated.  
  1. In your Datto BCDR account, navigate to Admin > Integrations and click Create API Key.

  2. Enter the following information and click Create:

    1. API Key Name: This can be anything you like (for example, "Backup Radar").
    2. Select Vendor: Choose Backup Radar.

  3. Under Admin Integrations, make a note of the Public and Private Keys.

  4. In Backup Radar, click Integration > Backup Integrations.

  5. Click the + button on the Datto BCDR tile.

  6. Enter the following information and click Save:
    Create Datto BCDR Source.png
    a. Profile Name: This can be anything you like (for example, "Datto BCDR").
    b. Public Key: The Public Key you received in Datto BCDR.
    c. Secret Key: The Private Key you received in Datto BCDR.

Note: Following a successful integration, you'll be returned to the Backup Integrations tab, where you can confirm your new integration source by looking for the Enabled checkmark icon.

Shortly, your backups will start populating in your Manage > Activate Backups screen and syncing hourly.
