Follow the instructions below based on where your backup appears in Backup Radar.
You can pause a backup during temporary maintenance or downtime, such as when a server is offline. While paused, the backup is not treated as an active scheduled job and does not generate alerts during the selected date range.
Backups on the Daily Activity Page
Use these steps if your backup is assigned to a Backup Plan and appears on the Daily Activity Page.
Open Daily Activity.
Find the backup you want to pause.
Under Actions, click the pencil (Edit) icon.
Turn on Pause backups.
Select the start and end dates for the pause.
Enter a reason for pausing the backup.
Click Save.
Note: Backups on the Daily Activity Page must be paused individually. Bulk pausing is not currently supported.
Backups on the Audit Page
Use these steps if your backup is tied to a template or was manually activated and appears on the Audit Page.

Open the Audit Page.
Select the backups you want to pause.
Click Edit.
Open the Advanced Settings tab.
Turn on Pause backups.
Select the start and end dates for the pause.
Enter a reason for pausing the backups.
Click Save.
The selected backups remain paused until the end date arrives or until you manually turn off the pause.
Manually unpausing your backups
To unpause backups on the Daily Activity Page:
Open Daily Activity.
Find the paused backup and click the pencil (Edit) icon under Actions.
Turn off Pause backups.
Click Save.
To unpause backups on the Audit Page:
Open the Audit Page.
Turn off the Scheduled Only toggle so the paused backup is visible.
Find the backup and click Edit.
Open the Advanced Settings tab.
Turn off Pause backups.
Click Save.
