⭐️ New releases |
-
New Tags, Device type filters to further narrow which results are included in a Backup Plan
Partners can now filter and assign devices to a Backup Plan using Device Type (e.g. Server, Workstation, Mailbox) and Tags, in addition to the existing criteria. Filters are dynamic so newly added devices that match the criteria are automatically included in the plan. Combined filters (Device Type + Tag) are supported, and a device preview is shown before saving the Backup Plan.
-
Add failure/warnings filter to Daily Activity page
Users can now quickly identify and focus on backup job issues that need attention by filtering results for failures and warnings. They can also view successful job results, and by excluding all statuses, easily find jobs with no results.
-
Unified ScalePad OS device mapping
Feature enables users to link Backup Radar devices to their corresponding ScalePad OS devices, supporting future integrations to other ScalePad products like ControlMap and Lifecycle Manager.
-
Add PSA Ticket Number to Daily Activity Detail Reports
The Backup Plan Daily Activity Detail report now includes a Ticket Number column for each row. This allows operations teams to cross-reference PSA tickets without leaving the report. Rows without an associated ticket display blank.
-
Move job results on the Daily Activity page
Users can now move a backup job's results from one job into another directly from the Daily Activity page.
-
Add additional display types to System Alert dashboard tiles
System Alert dashboard tiles now support the same display types as Backup Job tiles such as: Histogram, Pie Chart, Horizontal Bar Chart, and Vertical Bar Chart. Existing System Alert tiles (Count) remain unchanged. Partners can edit any tile to change its display type.
💪🏻 Software improvements |
-
New Parser: Druva Microsoft Dynamics 365
A new Druva parser now supports backup results for Microsoft Dynamics 365. Device name is sourced from Plus Addressing; each Job ID is ingested as its own timestamp backup record with statuses mapped to Success, Warning, or Failure.
-
New Parser: Druva Entra ID
Druva backup results for Microsoft Entra ID are now ingested. Device name is derived from Plus Addressing; job name is "Microsoft Entra ID"; statuses are Successful or Error.
-
Druva Last Backup Status Report Without Workload Column
The Druva parser now supports the Last Backup Status Report and Last Backup Status Report Full CSV formats that do not contain a Workload column. Column mappings: Company Name → Profile, Device → Device Name, User Email ID → Job Name, Result → Status.
-
Veeam Parser Update — oVirt KVM Support
The Veeam email parser now recognizes the new identifier "Veeam Plug-in for oVirt KVM 13.7.1.10" so emails from this version are no longer marked as unrecognized.
-
Veeam VM Snapshot Consolidation: Reclassified as System Alert
Veeam "VM Snapshot Consolidation" jobs were being displayed as a regular backup (Result Type = Backup) in Backup Plans while the Edit view showed them as Alerts. The classification is now consistent: these jobs are treated as System Alerts, eliminating false "Out of Compliance – No Results" entries in Daily Activity.
-
Barracuda Parser: Trailing Slash in Job Name
The Barracuda parser now correctly ingests backup jobs where the job name/description ends with a "/". The trailing slash is stripped and results are ingested normally.
-
Synology Job Name Parsing
An inconsistency in the Synology parser where a period in the company name portion of the backup task caused incorrect job name extraction has been fixed. Job names are now consistently derived from the backup result name.
-
SkyKick Ingestion Fix
Certain SkyKick backup devices that had results present in stored API responses but were not being ingested into Backup Radar are now ingested correctly.
-
PCSystem EXPORT SQL: "File Does Not Exist" Now Failure
The EXPORT SQL parser previously classified the result "File does not exist" as a Success. It is now correctly marked as Failure.
-
Axcient Boot Check Status Accuracy
For Axcient API backups, Boot Check jobs that fail in the Axcient portal were reported as successful in Backup Radar. The ingestion logic now evaluates the is_healthy parameter (in addition to status) so failures are accurately reflected.
-
Druva Presidio: In-Progress Statuses No Longer Failures
Druva backup devices with statuses "Running Backup" and "Queued Backup" were incorrectly being counted as Failures. These in-progress statuses are now treated as expected interim states and are no longer surfaced as failures.
🐞 Bug fixes |
-
Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX Parser
An issue where certain Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX report formats were routed to an incorrect parser, causing them to be missed has been resolved. All ShadowProtect SPX report variants are now consistently ingested.
-
Fixed how the Daily Activity filters operate
When selecting an entered text inside a Daily Activity filter field, this caused a table column to be moved to the left or right instead of selecting the text.
-
Slide Integration — Import Clients Confirmation Modal
When a user with the IsClientBasedSignature flag edits an existing Slide integration and toggles the "Import Clients" checkbox, a confirmation modal now warns that changing this setting may create duplicate backups. The user can confirm or revert.
-
Autotask Company Sync Fix
Solved an issue where certain Autotask companies failed to sync to Backup Radar.
-
VSPC Integration Data Gap Fix
A scenario where Veeam VSPC backups had results present in the VSPC portal but they were not being ingested into Backup Radar has been resolved.
-
ConnectWise / SkyKick Integration Auth Errors Resolved
Multiple partners experienced SkyKick subscription key validation errors that prevented backup ingestion. The root cause has been identified and resolved, and affected integrations have been restored.
-
Datto API Ingestion Gap Fix
Datto API backup results that were present in stored API responses but failing to be ingested into Backup Radar policies have been resolved.
