If a Veeam backup shows No Result in Backup Radar, first review Integrating with Veeam Backup and Replication Emails to confirm that Veeam is configured to send the appropriate email notifications to Backup Radar. Then follow the steps below to check whether the email reached Backup Radar and whether it matches the correct backup record.

Note: If the backup shows No Result for the current day, verify that the backup has already run. No Result can be normal until the scheduled backup runs and Backup Radar receives the corresponding email.

Find the affected job

  1. On the Audit or Daily Activity page, locate the backup that shows No Result.

  2. Copy the job name.

Check whether the email reached Backup Radar

  1. Navigate to Integration > Mailboxes.

  2. Open a mailbox and search for the job name.

  3. Repeat the search in each available mailbox.

Veeam includes the job name in the email subject, so the job name helps you find the related email.

If you don’t find an email for the job, confirm whether the backup ran recently in Veeam. If the backup ran but no email reached any Backup Radar mailbox, the email delivery or Veeam configuration is likely the cause of the No Result status. Within Veeam email configuration click the "Test Message" button to verify email delivery succeeds.

If the backup did not run yet for the current day, No Result can be expected. Wait for the backup to run and search the mailboxes again.

If no email arrives after the backup runs, continue to Contact Support with your findings.

Check the unique identifiers

If you find an email for the job, check its receive time and compare the device and job details in the email with the corresponding backup record in Backup Radar.

For more details about the values Backup Radar uses to match results to backup records, see About unique identifiers for backups.

If the device name, job name, or another unique identifier does not match, the backup might have been renamed or recreated. This can create a duplicate backup record in Backup Radar.

If a new record is present:

  1. Activate the new record.

  2. Merge the old record into the new record to retain the backup history. For more details, see Merging your Backups.

If the identifiers match but the backup still shows No Result, note the email receive time and continue to Contact Support with your findings.

Contact Support with your findings

If no email reaches Backup Radar, or if the email and backup record appear to match but the backup still shows No Result, submit a support ticket.

Include the following information:

  • The affected job name and device name.

  • A screenshot showing that the backup ran recently in Veeam.
